Not long ago my creativity was unleashed on the stage. I miss the stress of coming up with an audition song and monologue. Sitting in front of auditors and delivering my pieces, shaking in my wheelchair that feels suddenly so isolated.

I have to throw a “funny” in here now and then. Since I’m an amputee, I especially appreciate the humor of this cartoon.
I’d like to introduce Song Sense Jewelry’s newest team member and photography model, Caitlin Sharshel!
I named this piece “The Re-Cycles of Life,” because of it’s creation story. While making my jewelry, I practice Meditation to help combat chronic pain. And sometimes my pieces “build themselves” when I’m not looking. After it was all put together, I noticed the turquoise face beads were upside down.
Just like any jewelry, Song Sense Jewelry requires some special TLC to make sure it stands the test of time. Here’s a list of care instructions to make sure your investment is here to pass along to the next generation.
Amethyst Slice Pendant Necklace – “Phantom Gem” The amethyst, when forming, begins blooming crystal protrusions, as though building some complex structure. These blooms suddenly stop, seemingly without a finalized product. Kind of the way I developed. But we are not…
The captivating purple quartz known as amethyst is February’s birthstone. The gem gets it color from high energy radiation (e.g., gamma rays and the presence of iron). Amethyst is mined in Brazil, Uruguay, Bolivia, and Argentina, as well as in several African countries.
A goal I set for myself is to feature a Birthstone article and new piece of jewelry in my Blog each month. If you get my Month in Review Newsletter, you read about my goals for this year. The Birthstone project is one of the opportunities Victor Charles talks about that I’m grabbing this year.
The colors of “A Sparkling Breeze” move like the wind. You’ll find blue flowing among the red, with yellow sneaking in a peak, while green meanders in from a different direction.
In the 70s and 80s Holly Hobbie was fashionable with every little girl, this artist included. I’ve taken one of those “fashionable” necklaces of my youth and given it a facelift. Holly now is playing with the big girls in this necklace. “Sophisticated Holly” is only $35.
