I now have my third festival (or would you call it the fourth, since this was a two-day festival?) under my belt. I definitely had my bases covered with this one. I planed and then planed again. I even did mock-up sales with my son and boyfriend prior to the festival to make sure I wasn’t forgetting anything. I purchased new labels for my boxes, prices tags with my logo, and flowers for the tables. I printed signs for the tables and had a very pretty amethyst holder for my business cards. Our booth was so pretty!

I have chronic pain. It’s morning. I’m awake – again. I’ve slept a few hours in a semi-upright position because my body doesn’t lay flat. Nor will it bend to a full 90 degrees. I can’t get up yet, but I have to go to the bathroom. I take an oxycontin to help move some of the pain to the back burner. And I wait.
I thought I’d look at coming jewelry trends for 2018. Cuff jewelry is anticipated to be a hit here in the US next year! It’s kind of my specialty. I love making them! Take a look at four I made this year.
I remember the first piece I made of polymer clay. I saw a pin on Pinterest that inspired me. So I set to work. I put in a little sterling silver tree charm and an orange and green glass bead and began creating vines, swirls, and leaves around them. But I didn’t know when to stop!
I have a warrior spirit. I have to use it quite often making jewelry. In fact, I’m working on a custom bracelet now that I started months ago. I made one, but I neglected to ask the customer if she’d mind pearls in it. She did. She was my first Custom Jewelry customer. I’m learning.
My son gave me a new Journal today entitled “Be Inspired.” It has quotes on each page. Its a diverse collection of quotes by people such as Milton Berle, Vincent van Gogh, Lao Tzo, and Julie Andrews. I’m looking forward to…
